My early interest in investments, insurance, real estate and estate planning was born out of the tragedy of losing my father at age 50. I was 13 at the time, the youngest of 13 children, and grew up watching my mother suffer and lose everything because my parents hadn’t planned. They had no will, no retirement savings and no life insurance.
This sequence of events had a huge impact on me and set the path for my future. I was determined to gain the knowledge of necessary tools to protect my family and my clients from the same fate. After going to college, I became licensed in investments, insurance and real estate. In 2003, I started my own financial planning, insurance and real estate business. My firm, Secure Seniors, specializes in helping families protect their retirement savings and wealth from stock market losses or downturns in the economy, educating them on the need for estate planning and carrying the right types of insurance to protect their families.
